Singing Bowl / Gong Guided Meditation

Join us for a guided meditation on the 2nd Friday of the month at Healing Wave Chiropractic!

The inaugural session will commence at 6:00pm on Friday, June 14 and will feature the sounds of Himalayan Singing Bowls and Hanging Gongs from Nepal, China, Afghanistan and Bali. Brief instructions at the outset of the journey and instructions to return will be given verbally, and the remainder of the time will be the sounds of the gongs and a variety of other indigenous instruments. Time permitting, we will have a Q&A session after the session.

Things to bring:

• Blackout blindfold (e.g., Mindfold) for immersion
• Blanket (if you chill easily)
• Yoga mat and head/knee pillows if you’d like to lay down
• $30 cash or a Venmo account to pay at the event

Bob’s Bio: I first took my certification through Mitch Nur’s 9 Ways Academea over 30 years ago, attaining the highest level of certification. Since then, I came to teach in his program and then in other certification programs. My lectures were on the science of sound (acoustics) and how it interacts with the physical world (cymatics) and on inducing various consciousness states using sound (binaural beats). In these demonstrations I use my collection of instruments, acquired over the years. My collection is a harmonically-tuned set of over 60 instruments ranging in size from 3” to 60” and in ranging age from modern manufacture to over 400 years old.
