The bright, welcoming healing envronment at Healing Wave Chiropractic

Welcome to Healing Wave Chiropractic

At Healing Wave Chiropractic, we care for the spine and nervous system using a gentle, low-force approach called NetworkSpinal. Our goal is to help your body move beyond patterns of tension, stress, and defense so you can experience greater adaptability, ease, energy, and connection.

Whether you're seeking support for stress, pain, or a deeper connection to your inner healing rhythms, you're in the right place. We’re excited to walk with you on a transformative journey toward lasting wellness. Here’s how to get started as a new practice member at our office:

Step 1: Complimentary Phone Consultation

Your first step is a brief complimentary phone call with Dr. Shaun.

During this call, he will ask some questions about your current concerns, your health history and what you are hoping to experience through care. He will also explain the gentle nature of NetworkSpinal care and how this approach differs from conventional chiropractic adjusting.

Healing Wave Chiropractic does not accept insurance or third-party payment. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

If the office feels like the right fit, your initial visit will be scheduled on this call.

Dr. Shaun will then perform a thorough chiropractic evaluation. Depending on your needs, this may include:

  • Bilateral weight distribution analysis

  • Digital posture evaluation

  • Surface electromyography, or sEMG, to assess postural muscle energy patterns

  • Paraspinal thermography to evaluate patterns of nervous system stress along the spine

  • Heart rate variability, or HRV, to assess adaptability and stress regulation

  • A NetworkSpinal assessment to evaluate your body’s level of nervous system connection and responsiveness

This evaluation helps reveal how your body has been organizing tension, protection, and stress. It gives us a clearer picture of your physical, neurological, and adaptive patterns.

Step 2: Initial Visit

Consultation, Examination, and First Spinal Entrainment

Your first in-office visit is a 90–120 minute one-on-one experience with Dr. Shaun.

This visit is designed to understand how your body and nervous system have been adapting to life, stress, injury, posture, emotional strain, and accumulated tension.

Together, you will discuss:

  • Your reasons for seeking care

  • Your current health challenges

  • How your body arrived at its present state

  • Past injuries, stressors, or life experiences that may be contributing

  • What you would like to experience more of in your health and life

  • Your goals for energy, ease, adaptability, and healing

Your First Spinal Entrainment with Dr. Shaun

After the consultation and examination, Dr. Shaun will provide your first spinal entrainment.

A spinal entrainment is the term we use for a NetworkSpinal adjustment. We use this language because NetworkSpinal care is different from traditional chiropractic adjusting. It does not involve cracking, popping, or forceful manipulation. Instead, gentle contacts are applied to specific areas of the spine to help the nervous system become more aware, connected, and adaptable.

Your first entrainment may also include simple breathing or body-awareness exercises drawn from Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI). Many people find this first session relaxing, grounding, and renewing.

Before you leave, we will schedule your second visit: the Report of Findings.

Step 3: Report of Findings

Results, Recommendations, and Second Spinal Entrainment

Your second visit takes approximately 60–90 minutes.

At this appointment, Dr. Shaun will review your examination findings and explain what they suggest about your spine, nervous system, posture, stress patterns, and adaptability.

You will receive clear recommendations based on:

  • Your current nervous system function

  • Your examination findings

  • Your health history

  • Your healing goals

  • The level of frequency and momentum needed for meaningful change

Dr. Shaun will answer your questions, explain how care works, and recommend a care plan that may include visit frequency, duration of care, re-examinations, and supportive tools such as SRI, breathwork, lifestyle education, or home awareness practices.

Financial options will also be reviewed at this visit, including available prepaid package options for practice members who choose consistent care.

After your Report of Findings, time is reserved for your second spinal entrainment.

Ongoing Care

After your first two visits, routine spinal entrainments are shorter and more focused.

Multiple practice members may be present in the entrainment room at the same time. This group setting allows us to keep care accessible, maintain reasonable fees, and increase your access to Dr. Shaun while supporting the unique healing field created through NetworkSpinal care.

Many practice members receive care weekly or biweekly once they have moved beyond their initial care plan. Others may begin with greater frequency, especially when their nervous system needs more momentum and consistency to create meaningful change.

Re-examinations are recommended periodically to track progress, update care recommendations, and observe how your nervous system is adapting over time.

How Our Care Is Different

Healing Wave Chiropractic is not conventional chiropractic care.

We do not focus only on short-term symptom relief. While many people seek care because of pain, stress, tension, or health challenges, our deeper focus is helping the spine and nervous system reorganize toward greater ease, resilience, and healing capacity.

Our care emphasizes:

  • Gentle, low-force NetworkSpinal care

  • No cracking, twisting, or forceful adjustments

  • Nervous system awareness and adaptability

  • Posture, stress, and neurostructural pattern evaluation

  • Somato Respiratory Integration, breathwork, and body awareness

  • Personalized care recommendations

  • Ongoing progress tracking through re-examinations

  • A calm, spacious environment where you are not rushed

This approach may be ideal if you are ready to move beyond “just fixing what hurts” and toward a more connected, adaptable, and energized experience of life.

Before Your First Visit

Because our approach is thorough and highly personalized, we ask all new practice members to complete their intake paperwork online at least 24 hours before the first appointment. This gives Dr. Shaun time to review your health history, concerns, and goals before you arrive.

For your first visit, please wear clothing that is comfortable and close-fitting. Digital posture photos are most accurate when the body’s structure is not hidden under loose or bulky clothing. To get the most accurate exam scans, please refrain from the following for 3+ hours before your first visit with Dr. Shaun: exercising, caffeine/nicotine intake, taking muscle relaxers or over the counter medications.

Bring any recent health records or imaging (discs and/or reports) if applicable.
